נְגַף

נְגַףch. sam(נגףto strike, push; to injure). Targ. Ps. 89:24. Targ. Ex. 21:35; a. e. Pa. נַגֵּף same. Part. pass. מְנַגַּף bruised, wounded. Yoma 53a עד דמְנַגְּפַן כרעיהוכ׳ (some ed. דמִינַּגְּפַן Ithpa.; Ms. M. a. Ar. דהוה מנקפן, v. Rabb. D.
